The Dumpling Cove in the Bronx, New York, has it’s roots going  back to J&T Community Fish, later renamed as Dumplin Shop in 2008, located on Bronxwood Avenue and 221st Street.  The Dumplin Shop was a household name throughout the entire New York region and has had it’s share of international stars, whether it is Reggae music icon or boxing greats,  they would make their way to have our mouth watering dumplings. The Dumplin Shop  moved to its present location 1530 E. 222nd Street in September 2013 under new management.  In late 2016, there was a split with the other partners and they moved on, leaving the Dumplin Shop to be solely managed by the person that has been the Manager for the past 15 years, and many years before the other partners got involved with Dumplin Shop.  In 2017, the restaurant was upgraded and rebranded, calling it The Dumpling Cove. Originally known for it’s unique dumplings and fried fish, but today The Dumpling Cove serves a wide range of Caribbean cuisines. Whether you are looking for an authentic Caribbean breakfast, lunch or dinner our traditional Caribbean dishes are here to bring you back and “Taste The Islands.
